Michael V. Gaines
Michael specializes in helping clients address strategy, change management, leadership and team development through facilitation and coaching, with a holistic approach to managing roadblocks in work relationships, teams and business objectives. His experience in managing people in time-sensitive, high-stakes environments allows him to introduce creative solutions in individual and team motivation. He consults primarily with engineers in high-tech Silicon Valley-based organizations, where the uncertainty of human behavior is often discordant with the exactness of engineering processes.

Functional coaching experience includes clients in Operations, Finance, Development & Production, Marketing, Sales, Legal Affairs and IT.
His Organizational Development career began as an instructor and business development manager for corporate training programs at Outward Bound, delivering leadership development programs for Coca-Cola, Home Depot and Cox Enterprises. He was partner with St. Charles Consulting Group and VP of Organizational Consulting with Right Management.
Michael was also principal and founder of Pacific Performance Alliance, an organization of independent consultants and Stanford University Engineering professors that focused on developing high-performing management teams. His operational experience comes from his first career as production manager for Carsey Werner Productions, and later for NBC Sports and Turner Broadcasting, managing budgets and logistics for the NBA Championships, World Cup Soccer and The Olympic Games.
